As I sat back and watched my email account fill with dishes from all over the world, what struck me most was that the appeal of the bean, the lentil, the legume is indeed universal. Each culture has its own, unique approach to the blank canvas that is the pulse. I'm thrilled to have been able to host this month's edition of Susan's ragingly successful event.
