Just look at those little babies. How beautiful Lucy. Just think how cheap and delicious they'll be in a couple of months. In January I always try to get a few kilos worth, to make jam from. While shop-bought apricot jam is bland muck. Home-made is amazingly good. And m=y favourite.

These do look grogeous! Are you going to cook with them or just eat them straight out of the bowl?

What gorgeous, fuzzy little bums! I know the organic dried ones are soooo expensive, but I can't enjoy any others now that I've tried them.

Beautiful photo Lucy. How lucky you are to have Spring. It's so dark and gloomy here, but I've been keeping busy in the kitchen to avoid thinking of it.

claire

Ooooh, cute and fuzzy. Phwoar!

It snowed today. I dream of spring and such apricots.

I've been paying a little extra just to get some early stone fruit - esp after buying some apples last week which were so disappointing - roll on cheap stone fruit!

hi Lucy, great to find you (via peasoup!). When the fridge is empty and it seems just too far to the general store, I will be here scrolling down and gorging myself visually on all your exquisite photos and noting recipes for market days!

Oh my, I guess my comments are not posting. Oh well. As always, beautiful photography. This makes me hungry for spring.

Have a happy day!

Fuzz cherubs...but true, they never are perfect when fresh.

What a lovely vision - it almost makes me forget my frost-nipped cheeks...
