happy new year lucy - nice to see you back and hear of all your lovely foodie adventures - I like the vision of you filching vine leaves from the back lane! And lovely photos as always - looking forward to more when things settle a little!

Happy 2009, Lucy! Sounds like a feast fit for royalty. (And you named your fish!!) ;) Hope changes bring lots of good things your way.

Happy New Year! This looks fantabulous. And yes, I feel ready for a new year to begin. Last year was good, but there was so much I could improve upon!

Simona Carini

Happy New Year!

Welcome back Lucy! And a Happy New Year to you. I know how excitingly daunting this year is looking for so wanted to say it again.

All of the food sounds wonderful. Am particularly taken by the poached stone fruit, perhaps because we get such crap peaches and nectarines here.

Shall try dancing to Dylan this weekend. Not holding out much hope. :-)

Carson

Nope, I'm never ready
never ever ever 100% ready
And you're right; edgy is the new casual
oh and when can I come to yours for lunch ?

Christina

Bring it on! I'm ready! Now that I've read this, I'm not just ready, I'm hungry.

Good luck with all that is scary. Happy New Year, friend.

Katrina

Happy New Year Lucy. I can comment! It's going to be a good year. And may the scary stuff be simply another flavor added to the pot of deliciousness.

Rosa

Ah Lucy, it's lovely to have you back! If only my Christmas eating had been as healthy as yours... I'm paying the price now.
