Licorice is great, isn't it. Oriental medicine refers to its "harmonising" quality, it really can bring different tastes together and balance them.

And a little bit of sweet never hurts us :)

love liquorice tea from a bag but never had it fresh - my pantry needs some shuffling of lentils - maybe I would find if I have any liquorice tea left

I love some liquorice root in tea too, especially chai. It has an amazing flavour.
