currently loving raddichio too; i like the sound of your salad.

chelsea

er, radicchio, that is...

Lucy

like zucchini, it's a damn tricky word, that...i had to correct it many times in draft!

TE Willans

Try roasting or char grilling it.

Mariana

Not a fan of this veggie. Your pic is very nice though. Unlike you, Im screaming out for the cold; I can't wait to leave behind this humidity and heat. So over it.

Amanda

Wonderful! I love the cider vinegar here, and it's another of my kitchen sink favorites.

Ro

Keeps for an hour or so.....until devoured.

mlleparadis

you visited and then i visited and then i haven't been back! i'm missing out on so much! blackberry and apple and radicchio (not necessarily together!) are some of my favorite flavors. cheers!

mlleparadis

p.s. - thanks for pointing me in Xenia's direction. yes i like what she does too! the brushes app is truly amazing - such different results possible!

p.p.s. - a terrific recipe from the river cafe (first) cookbook involved roasting fish in radicchio leaves. yum!

very pure and simple tasting.

see you!

kathryn

Gosh bitter and peppery, with just enough avocado to provide a delicious creaminess. Well that's what I'm imagining anyway. I do like your new pared down recipe style m'dear. And those radicchio in your shiny, shiny sink are just beautiful. You are the bitter leaves queen in my book.

Lucy

mlle: i am going to track that river cafe number down...i've got it here somewhere!

kathryn: SO nice to have ya back, baby. pleased you think of me and bitter as a partnership (ha!). x

Zoe

My fave pasta/gnocchi sauce is shredded radicchio sauteed in garlicky olive oil then toasted walnuts, lemon zest, gorgonzola and parsley.

And now I want some :)

I have some tiny, tiny seedlings of these in now

Lucy

zoe...thanks for the link to that seed place. think i'm gonna be spending a little bit of money today!
