anh@anhsfoodblog.com

wonderful!

I recently bake a an apple cake, with golden syrup! So much in love with that depth of dark sugar flavour.

Denise | Chez Danisse

It looks so good.

Wendy

That looks divine, Lucy. I love apple cake. x

Sophie

Oh my, that looks to die for!
Also wanted to say, thanks so much for the seeds. My garden has been as neglected as my blog lately with a very busy winter. The weeds are at a depressing state and the rocket didn't even get picked before it went to seed... You know you haven't given your garden enough thought when things don't even get picked. Inspired by a parcel that came in the post however, and hoping to get all things earthy in order soon. I hope you received yours too :)
xx

Dennis

I love apples so this does sound really good.

Beth

Oh... so moist. I want some.

Georgia

Just those words 'wholemeal' 'apple' 'marmalade' and 'cake' together are some kind of magic. I very much look forward to trying this one out!

Elaine

And if you're very lucky, a dear and special friend will send you a beautiful photo of mint in the morning. Thank you xx.

For the first time, our trees at the community garden are producing apples, perfect little pommes, not much larger than cumquats.

I know what I shall make with them. Thank you for this, too. Your words are as delicious as the cake. Could Nigel have written a better narrative. I don't think so.

(BTW, at first I thought the tomato was giving a "thumbs up" to the recipe....but you've given me other thoughts ;-).)
