just beautiful, lucy. so...are you going to make a big batch of fancy preserved lemons now? (i'll send you my recipe) they're good in everything.
off to volunteer as a runner at the vermont fresh network forum this afternoon and evening...i get to hear judith jones speak and eat lots of great food in exchange for all my running! will report back.
Sophie, except maybe two lemon trees and an orange grove...stuff of dreams, that.
Hi nikki, and thanks! It's an old Chinese bath. Always been too big for my smaller cameras. The Blad loves it, though.
Ali, yep preserved lemons (I'd love to see your recipe) and am also thinking lemon and ginger jam. I finished Jones' Tenth Muse a couple of months ago; really enjoyed it. Eat well, run well and have fun - can't wait to see/hear about the day!
Elaine, each morning I see the Blad sitting there, on his appointed shelf, and I know he was worth every (hard-earned) penny spent. I am thinking that you might need a Holga...for experimenting...
I really enjoy your blog. Would you be interested in either writing a guest blog or giving permission to repost one of your entries for our blog www (dot) dogislandfarm (dot) com? It is a blog about becoming more self sufficient. Your food and harvesting photos/writings would be lovely to share with our readers.
...nothing beats ones own supply of fresh lemons!
sending you a sunday night hello,
Sophie

I'm experiencing lemon, bowl and light envy. Oh, let's add Hasselblad in there too.
Beautiful.

Thank you, ladies.
Stephanie: Will have a think and get back to you. In the middle of packing up the place, but I've made a note in my diary to contact you when settled!
