I so look forward to your posts and photos. Another lovely shot. It's about this time of year when the seasons in Europe and Australia collide and for a brief moment the temperature and light are almost the same. Somehow makes me feel closer to 'home'.

Hmmmm, I completely intrigued by the reflections. I think I see a utility pole (?) and possible glass bottles, but unusual ones. They aren't glass insulators, are they?

We had a record-setting rainfall yesterday, the last day of August (end of summer up here). Yes, it does seem like our seasons are converging. You've given me an idea for my photo today. I noticed several inches of water in an empty flower pot on my way to work.

Happy spring to you. XO

Beauty. Happy Spring, Lucy.

Hi Sophie. X

Hello Clare: I keep seeing images from the northern hemisphere on flickr and thinking the exact same thing. Great minds, as they say...

Elaine, it's been astounding how much rain we've had this winter - you too! Much of country Victoria is flooded this morning. Good for our gardens (both northern and southern ones) but it can be a wee bit depressing...

In the bucket are glass bottles, lined up on along my kitchen windowsill; mandarin tamari, a bottle of filtered water, Japanese rice vinegar (it was dull, but the bottle is grand), and umeboshi vinegar. I've been clearing the pantry out. Good for the soul.

Lucy, as always, thank you. Looking forward to autumn through your eyes, my friend. X
