Welcome back! Me too, except, the indulgence has been the past 4.5 months. I'm a little excited about starting work on Monday!

happy new year lucy - hope you have a good one - wonderful evocative photos - the cold weather today was terrible - our cubby hut was blown over - now that is just too much wind!

Sophie

Agreed Lucy - I think routine solves nearly as many problems as brown rice, so the two together will be dynamite.

Happy New Year to you!

Jessica

You are such a hippy ;) LOVE that second shot. Happy New Year to you darling Lucy! x

Lucy

pauline: so true!

johanna: and a happy new year to you guys - cubby blown over! oy. it was crazy wild weather. let's hope it's back to summer soon...

sophie: best combination on earth indeed...happy new year to all of your clan, too.

jess: heh. SO true...and to you, a fabulous 2012, my friend. x

I do love spontaneity, but equally adore returning home post-adventure to my own bed, my own bathtub, my own kitchen...

Good grief, 12 degrees? I was wondering why you were back from the country and now I *totally* understand. What is happening to our summer this year?

Brown rice, tofu, grated carrot - sounds heavenly I think.

I've been on holidays for the last 3 weeks, which has been brilliant (and I've read SO MUCH). However over the last few days i've found myself looking forward to some focus and routine. I'm going to enjoy the last few days, but also look forward to next week as well.

Wendy

That last picture - I hadn't seem it before. It's stunning, Lucy.
PS I'm very happy to get some routine back too. xx

bethini

Man, brown rice and carrot cravings? I hear you. After the lengthy over-eating festival of Yule/New Year, I couldn't wait to get back home and eat just plain, clean things. Water with lemon; salad on wholemeal bread; sliced capsicum and tomato. Welcome back!

Georgia

I hear you on getting back to simple routine and simple fare. Hurrah for nourishing food that makes you feel alive and well. Happy 2012 to you and here's to a great year ahead and to simple, beautiful things!

Sophie

Lucy, these are so beautiful. I love the pink and green.... and that light mmmm.
